Winfellow is splendid for older machines like mine. Whereas WinUAE runs with stuttering sound on 400mhz, WinFellow is perfect. :)

I've had one odd problem though. The "O" key does not work under emulation. This rarely affects anything except text adventures, but it's still somewhat serious. :shocked

I've still not quite figured out how to get HDF files to boot under WinFellow. :sad

Some of the games that don't work properly under WinFellow include Paradroid 90 (video slowdown), Starglider 2 (missing crosshair, buggy gauges), Unreal (locks up with red garbage after first loading screen), Extase (a long standing problem that WinUAE corrected only recently with it locking up on the first loading screen), and Agony (no owl is visible). I'm sure there's others, but a large number of games work just great, and I'm very thankful about that. :D

Please keep up the good work, cause those of us with older machines like to make them 'useful' with good Amiga games. :spin

The non working "O" key is in use from the "keyboard layout 1". It's the autofire button.

.. Morning!

You can re-register the buttons on the keyboard by changing the key registration file (I think keys.reg or something), its really self-explanitary. but this way you can remove the link with autofire 1, and change it so that O inputs O into the emulator.

I think some of the games youve mentioned can be fixed by changing "blittermode" to the other one, or changing from OCS to ECS (or the other way round), its more about playing with the settings than anything else tbh. - the blittermode change usually helps with missing sprites or graphics problems whereas the OCS and ECS switch may help with compatibility issues.

The only time I believe the HDF files worked were under an old release, I tried with the new releases back in the UK and they didnt work for me either :( tis a shame

Unfortunately the WinFellow team seem to have dissappeared since the last release :( ... wahh!
