I would really like, that this thread would point out games that miss this one - very important feature: saving high scores to the hd!
...and hope for future updates to the slaves :bowdown

For example (most out of memory):

Chaos Engine
First Samurai
Saint Dragon (ouch, that one hurts me the most...)
Second Samurai
Toki
X-Out (Cross Out)

PS: Well, i'm assuming that they originally do save hiscores...

I must say i really enjoy the highscore saving in Super Hang-On, driving the Europe course again & again to try and beat the best score is fun.

Actually, almost no Amiga games save the high scores to disk - I'd guess that the figure is maybe 5% tops! Almost all the WHDLoad high score saving routines are added by the patchers and were not present in the originals. And some like Lotus and Super Cars 2 are a bitch to do!

It does add playability though that's for sure... of course you could scribble it down on a piece of paper of hex edit the actual executable (done that a few times) but it isn't quite the same...

perhaps there should be added incentive for doing the bitch type alterations...

like donation from the interested party :)

Ow :( :shocked :sad ... :crying:crying:crying

Did not knew that... it was kinda suspicious tho, when originall CAPS realeases didn't save scores in the emulator ;)...

So again, it's only a matter of begging the slave author for such a feature, and... wait :bowdown :bowdown :bowdown...
