I have a problem with Tearaway Thomas and WinUAE 8.17r2. It seems the disk doesn't load properly any longer.

Right after having entered the password (Cracked though) the loading screen and music starts, and then it just keeps jumping around the disk stopping at track 31 every now and then but not going further. If I load the game in Winfellow the game loads extrelemy fast, but it's kind of hard playing the game without sprites.

Probelm is I know that it worked for me on earlier versions of WinUAE (Can't remember which though) since somehow I always had the same version on my D drive and installed to the C drive instead when installing newer versions. This time though I remembered to install it to replace the old one. But before (Where I thought I was using the new one) I was actually using the old one.

Has anyone managed to get to actually play Tearaway thomas on WinUAE 8.17r2? And how did you get it to work? I tried disabling the sound which resulted in the loader just playing around at sector 1 instead.

Works perfectly here with my default A500 config. (WinUAE 0.8.17r2)

Could you post your config file? It still does this and I have a stupid feeling it might be the sound since it doesn't really go anywhere on the disk if sound is disabled, and if I bring up another window while the emulation is running the sound starts lagging, and the sector where the disk keeps slightly stopping at before going off again changes a bit when doing this, but nothiing else happens.

Thanks Toni. I found out the problem with my config was that in the CPU tab I had to have it set to "Approximate A500 speed" instead of "Fastest possible but maintain chipset timing".

Thanks for your help.
