Is there a way - tooltype maybe - to set the screen size?
I've been playing Settlers on ADF with WinUAE in full screen,
but the WHDload screen is too small.
I've read the FAQ and other posts so I hope I didn't miss what I was looking for.
Is this something for JOTD to address?

What?!?

Hmmm... change your tooltype to NTSC!

The only way a game can appear bigger / smaller is if you have NTSC / PAL differences OR you have a different version of the game.

Or he hasn't configured WniUAE properly!!!

Perhaps I'd better make things clearer.
I'm using ClassicWB with WinUAE. From DF0 the full screen mode is fine, as is my Workbench when I boot into it.
When I run the HD version, I have full screen but it's mostly black with the game in a small window(?) in the middle.

check your display settings for the Classic WB and DF0 are the same..

Most likely they are not!

As Bippy said, sounds like your display settings are wrong in WinUAE so this is a configuration issue.

For full screen, the following should be checked:

Full screen
Full screen RTG
Line mode - doubled

Even then, there will be a black boarder becase more than likely you have 800x600 set as the full screen resolution. The best way to get around this is use the filter options (eg direct3d) to stretch and centre the image.

Also, if you have an LCD monitor:

Make sure you have an option similar to "scale image to panel size" enabled in your graphics card drivers, or lower resolutions will be displayed in a smaller box at the LCD's native resolution. Unlikely this is the problem though as you said DF0: games work ok.
