I just D/L Beneth a Steel Sky, I never did finish that game when I had my A600 years ago. So I have decided to do so now. Ive tried to save my game in WinUae (Created a save disk with WinUae) but It failed, it also failed with WinFellow.

I have heard that a Disk formatted on an Amiga then converted to .ADF fixes Problems like these, is this true and if so Where can I get it?

Hmm, I thought save disk were out of fashion now with the advent of State-saving:)

You could try using that feature of the latest WinUAE 0.8.17r*, it's great IMO. You don't even have to wait for the game to load up:)

Or use a fully working and tested Save disk for use in WinUAE, remember press F5 to save and F6 to load.

For you to recieve said save disk I'll need your email address:D

Yup, I completely agree with Ian, use disk 1 to save, works fine here ..... save state feature also works fine ;) even better, make a HD Install and save to HD :D

Use this standard formatted ADF to save games. Works in hunderds and hundreds of games.

The save state crashes the game :mad , besides I dont like WinUAE after version 08.8, I find them to have choppy sound and run slower and that Jit this crap. I use Fellow :) when ever possible by far the best for non AGA games, shame its rarely updated and has many compatability problems.

Ill give that Save.ADF disk a wirl though

The reason I didn't post a save disk here was the fact it was well over the attachment list and you said you couldn't get the blank disk you created to work properly.

The save disk i created was >800k which says to me this game does something to the disk other than just saving to it:)

Coffeedotbean if you still have problems, I can send you a save disk for this game:)
