This game never was added to HOL, I think it needs to be :)

"the game is awsome"

I quite agree!

"This game never was added to HOL, I think it needs to be :)"

Yes!

The game has been added to HOL!!!
Finally! It took 14 years but ... finally it was added! <sigh of relief>:bowdown

There are however some small errors in the entry.

Firstly: the exact name of the game is:
Total Chaos AGA: Battle at the Frontier of Time.

HOL left out the "AGA". Please reinsert the AGA because it is important to differentiate this game from the various ECS releases. And hopefully they will make a "P96" version someday! James are you listening? :)

Secondly, HOL says date of first release 2004. This is wrong. 2004 was the date of LAST release. This game was FIRST released in 2003. The 2004 update just added Swedish translations and fixed some compatibility issues. Its the same game as the 2003 version, just patched up.

Its incredibly important to get the name of this game exactly correct because it has been released and rereleased countless times over the years. For example if HOL said "Total Chaos AGA" and left out the subtitle then "Date of First Release" would then have to be 1994 because that is when Total Chaos AGA: Battle at the Edge of Yesteryear was FIRST released.

There were many ECS versions of the game released from 1986 to around 1999? The last ECS version was called Chaos: Wizard War II which Faces of Mars website sold here many years in the past:

BTW I own the ORIGINAL floppy disks! Of the 1986 or 1987 version! OCS Rulez 4ever!!!! :D
If you want I can scan them for you sometime. If I can find the disks... Maybe. I don't actually have a scanner. Perhaps I should shut up now. :spin:crazy

Thirdly, it says "Original Amiga Game: Unknown" (!?). It should say "Hell Yes!" This is very definitely an original Amiga game! It is so original I didn't understand it the first time I saw it, lucky for me some amiga dudes explained it to me in 5 mins and I was hooked.

Its also so original that the PC game industry wants a port! Check the review of Total Chaos on Aminet scanned in from Retro Gamer magazine! That review was just published this year! (2005)

Here is the link:

Hey you should add that scan to the misc shots section! I can look up the exact issue number / month if you want?

Lastly at HOL HD Notes it could be added "64 MB " for total completeness.

Keep up the good work HOL Team!

Nope, its not inspired by Lord of Chaos! Total Chaos predates that game by several years. Total Chaos was known as Chaos: Return of the Wizards back in the mid and late 80s. Perhaps LOC is partly inspired by Chaos: ROTW OCS?

Well the gameplay is quite a bit different. The game mechanics are mostly different. The user interface is 100% different. They are 2 different games IMHO.

Thanks - I've fixed the year.

The AGA hardware type is not put it in the name as it's already listed just below it.
