Set the gateway on your Amiga to the IP of the router .... maybe you also have to set the DNS Server manualy ...

There is a green light on the pcmcia adapter but not on my adsl router.

The lights should go on on both ends of the cable once connected and powered up. If the light on the router stays off, you probably have the wrong cable. You need a standard enternet cable, not a cross-over one.

In AmiTCP configure a LAN connection with the driver you downloaded, give your Amiga an IP address which is in the range accepted by the router and set the default gateway to
the router's IP.

E.g.:

router's address = 192.168.1.1
Amiga's address = 192.168.1.2
network mask = 255.255.255.0
standard gateway = 192.168.1.1

You also have to set up the DNS address in AmiTCP's database. Either use the one of your provider or try the IP address of the router.
