There seems to be a problem with sound in this version. I have set midi-out to default, but midi-in has no options apart from external device.
I guess its back to version 8.6, unless anyone knows of a way around this.:confused

I have never tried this feature but I also only have one midi-in option and have 3 midi-out options. This is also the same in Winuae 14r1, 14r3. I can't really see a problem as you have to use an extenal keyboard attached to the game pad port on the sound card to be able to use midi-in.

You would have a problem if midi-out had only 1 option which was MPU.

I had to uninstall all other versions of Winuae and then re-install
8.17 r2.
No problems know, runs like a dream.
