Can somebody please make an install for Thexder? The game works from HD already (on 020 WB3.1) so it shouldn't be too hard to patch. The main thing it doesn't have is a quit option.

Two things I really want the patch to do is to provide a cheat option (invincibility) and the ability to set a different palette. Right now I have a little palette changing program (run with Fkey) that changes the Thexder palette to look more like the COCO 3 version (much nicer). Is there a way in the slave to force a different palette? (game resets palette when you die)

I'll see what I can do.

OK, thanks jotd!

What about the palette changing? Does that sound do-able/reasonable? Has anyone ever changed a game palette with WHDload? Only 3 colours need to be changed (game uses 8 colour screen). Believe me, the palette I use looks much better than the original. I think this was the only game in history where the CoCo version looks better than the Amiga version.

Hi,

You may have noticed that the install is available on whdload page (a 30 minute work!). Contact me in private (jotd _at_ wanadoo.fr) to tell me which palette to use (activable by a CUSTOM tooltype for instance)
