I'm looking for a party invitation demo from 1991, the problem is that I don't remember what it's called or who made it, but it features a "satellite view" of Norway and zooms down to street level to some building where the party was being held. This is unfortunately all I remember, but if it sounds familiar and you have this demo, please upload it into the zone. Thanks! :)

That`s a party invitation from Cryptoburners, I think the 'Party Of The Year' invitation. A great production with a memorable module by Walkman (partytime`91.mod or something). Haven`t found the file itself though.

Yes, that's right, it was by Cryptoburners. I really liked that demo, and that music is one of my favorite Amiga mods from back in the days.
I even found a PC demo that resembles an oldschool Amiga demo with various Amiga music, this partytime91.mod was one of them. Check it out, it's a nice little PC demo with some nice Amiga tunes in it.

Dunno if this demo from 1990 is what you're looking for... it's the Cryptoburners and IT party in Drammen, Norway. I liked this too, the zooming and the music blew me away!

I sure hope I can link to the ftp this way, someone tell me if I'm doing something that isn't allowed.
That ftp server is a pure goldmine for demofreaks! 8)

Naa, it`s 'crb&dexion&flt-partyinv', same archive!
Trying to get 'crb&it-drammenmegapartyinv90' running now, because I suspect this file to be the first production I`ve ever seen :-) ...14 years ago :-(

Hmm...these are available as Amiga binaries only.
Did you guys know that you can directly use these files in WinUAE? :D
Use them as if you wanted to "insert" an ADF, but switch the pull-down menu on the bottom from 'Amiga Disk Files' to 'All Files' when selecting the file! :)

Thanks Andreas, that's very convenient, didn't know this was possible. :)
That demo (it's the one Uno mentioned in his post) must be a very early version of Google Earth! Pretty cool effect for it's time!
I was just reading the text in that demo, does anyone know if that graphics packer (made by Heatseeker) was ever released? It said it'd pack the file to be 10% of the original size or maybe even as low as 5% when it was finished? So was it finished?
