Hi,
I've been backing up my non original amiga disks to adf using disk2adf, as I am looking to get rid of my floppies due to lack of space. If I needed to write them back to floppy I can easily do this using the various transfer tools.
I was wondering, in a forward-thinking approach, whether it is worth using the CAPS dumping tool to dump these disks. The reason I ask is that the CAPS tool re-reads ever track 5 times to get an accurate dump of the disk, even if it is unusable to anyone outside of CAPS. Would there ever be the possiblity of future programs to extract adfs from RAW files?
If any adf making programs out there verifies the data to the extent of CAPS then it wouldn't be needed :)
