Please note: This collection is not complete. There are still some (hundreds of ;)) disks left I need to dump. Some of the dumps have modified highscore-lists, saved games, read/write errors or even a fatal software error. Instead of complaining, try to do better.
Information about some the disks:
.: Amigo! :.
A diskmag sold for CHF 20.- (about US$13) at newspaperstands (sp?) at that time. Disks were wrapped in an A4 carton paper (sp?) welded into plastic. 1-2 disks per issue. One contained the diskmag with different reviews, coding tutorials, programs and instructions for them, the other one contained any games that didn't fit onto the first disk. Games and utilities were mostly PD/Freeware, some were low-budget releases of commercial games. Very high quality and AFAIK one of the longest during diskmags, was still published when every other one already had given up.
.: AmigaFun :.
From the same german publisher like Amigo!, but not sure anymore. Pretty much the same like Amigo!, except it didn't have a diskmag, but featured 1-2 games per issue. From time to time they could license commercial games and release them on the disks, like Neverending Story or Leavin' Teramis. Some high quality games like Quick & Silva, Future Shock. Can't remember the dates when the issues were published, so files got named Amigafun1, 2, 3...
.: AmigaLive :.
From an italian publisher, like Amigo! and AmigaFun it was sold at newspaperstands. No diskmag-part. Disks featured pd games and tools. No wait, on one disk there's the game Pinball Wizard with an altered title-screen, well actually it just displays a black screen ;)
.: Best Of PD :.
German. Like the title says, it features PD games and utilities and a small diskmag/news-part. A shame they sold that for CHF 20.-, as it containes only PD games!
.: Amiga Club :.
German. No diskmag-part, features pd/shareware games and utilities. Later issues had very good quality. Can't remember the dates when it was published.
.: Amiga Spieledisk :.
German, later issues featured low-budget releases of commercial games, like Mad TV, Eskimo Games, Nightshift. Very good. I can't remember what game's on one of the disks, as it needs to be unpacked onto 2 disks.
.: Supergame :.
German. Small diskmag-part, features pd/shareware/freeware games & tools.
Amiga Fever
German. No diskmag-part, features pd games, often programmed by the same author. Wasn't really worth the CHF 20.- per issue.
.: AmigaGames coverdisks :.
The first (?) german Amigagames papermag featuring a coverdisk on every issue. When CD-ROMs became popular on the Amiga, they started to publish a CD-ROMs edition too, like AmigaFormat. Disks/CD-ROMs contained demos of commercial games, scene-demos, pd games and utilities. It was the rival of the german mag AmigaJoker at that time, mainly due to the monthly coverdisk which the other mag didn't have, the AmigaGames-mag itself couldn't reach the quality of AmigaJoker. Attention: Some disks need to be booted from Workbench to play/use the other games/utilities. Also, some games that load up from startup-sequence are AGA-only.
.: AmigaJoker cheat-disk :.
This great german mag had a little 'shop' in each issue, where you could order back issues, disk-labels (!) and some other things, amongst them the cheat-disks (3 of them were published). I found the first disk on a BBS once, anybody has the other 2?
