Hi.
I have some problems using crossdos to read msdos
formatted disks on my Amiga.
I load the PC0 driver and everything looks fine (no error
and if I try to load it again it says PC0 is already
mounted).
But then nothing happens.
No extra disk icon. And msdos disks are still unreadable.
The msdos disk is formatted to be 720kb so thats not the
problem.
Anyone got an idea?

You could try opening a shell window after mounting PC0 and typing:
dir pc0:
If that doesnt work, try:
diskchange pc0:
and then type the first line. Also make sure you have the mfm.device in devs and the handler in "l"....if you double click on the PC0 icon and one of these files is missing, I don't think you will get an error message; it just won't work.
You could also try formatting the PC disks in your Amiga, as on rare occasions there can be problems reading disks formatted on some PCs. Hope this helps; if not, ask again and I'll try to give more help.

Thanks for the answer.
Well both 'cd pc0:' and 'diskchange pc0:' gives back 'object
not found'.
The only handlers in l is: aux, queue and port.
Something tells me that's the problem... if so, where is
the missing handler and whats it named?
You see I just bought this Amiga and I have never used one
before...

Stupid manuals who doesn't say a thing about it.

Glad you found it because I can't for the life of me remember what the handler is called :D
