I got my datacable yesterday, along with 40 blank HD floppies. Imagine what went through my head when i found out that HD disks wouldnt work with my a600 :( what a waste of money..and what am i gonna do with all these floppies..

well ive managed to find a solution...sort of!

if you copy whatever you want to a normal density disk then use an amiga program called "diskmate" then copy whatever from the normal disk to the HD disk... you will notice the disk boots/works just fine now :)

Itīs WAY easier to stick a tape over the HD hole of the disks and use it right away ;) :cheese

That's the one! I used to do the opposite with with my old double density disks. They were well shit after that :)

I've never had a problem with HD disks on Amigas.

Have a read of this thread anyway, may be of some use (http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12217&highlight=disks)
