Reunion HD problem

Hi folks. I have a bit of a problem. I am trying to install Reunion, a space strategy/adventure game. It goes well, except that when i click on the menu bar on the upper part of the screen, i get a blank main windoe.
The game still seems active, but nothing shows. Any help is very nice indeed:)

Anyway, I got that problems when playing SuperGem´z from Kaiko, but its BEFORE the game appears, so all I have to do is press firebutton untill I enter the game, then grafics appears ?!

U use it on Emu or "real" Amiga ?? Could be a Kickstart Problem...

I tried on the emulator the copy of Reunion i had and it does the same thing when run from floppy (and it is in english btw).

I know at home i have something called an "ECS fix" for this game, if you like i can post it tomorrow.

Well the ECS fix is just the main executable (MAIN.EXE) because apparently the previous crack had something wrong.

I tried the game with this fix, but nothing changes (i.e. black screen with no apparent activity).

Anyway i've uploaded to the ADFZone for you to try.

Well Fred, i tried the game on my amiga this weekend and i could play it and even install and run perfectly from HD (i just used killaga before starting it and had no problem).

I have seen the same error you had on WinUAE, so i assume you're trying it on emulation, have you already tried older versions of WinUAE or WinFellow ?

Anyway, let me know if you want the english version (6 disks) and the SaveGame editor (very useful if you want more money, cheaper ships and everything and ... ok if you want to cheat at it :D )

Hi Ptrchiappe.
I am trying to install an English version as i read this...but when it asks for insertion of disk #6..I have none!!

I've uploaded all the 6 disks of the english version to the ADFZone.

As i said, i succesfully installed and run the game on my A1200 (using killaga before starting main.exe), but on the emulators i just got the same black screen you experienced.

In a few minutes i'll upload the Save Editor.

Ptrchiappe, you have done me a service:) I will test it out now. but should i try ECS chipset on WINUAE since you killed AGA on your A 1200?

Yes, i think it's best to try ECS because the game is ECS ( i don't know if an AGA version exists.

But, as i said, i didn't succeed to run it on emulators, only the black screen when you access any of the different panels so ...

Once again, I thank you, ptrchiappe (can I just call ya Pete?).
Anyway, I have yet to install as I am at work, and got it late last night and went to bed.
I will have to resort to playing it off the disks if the HD thingie continues. Maybe even then it still won't work if I read you right.
Another thing..you say it does not work with emulators. This includes WinFellow as well, no?

Well i just tried once on WinFellow and it didn't work, but you could try changing some configuration and see if it makes any difference.

Anyone there can help me with install Reunion ECS I have floppies but when click on Install icon it doesnot give me a choice for install path, any clue the disk is called Reunion_MainDisk and my floppy was damage on the Install could that be the reason for my problems?
The game is working from my floppies, but alot of swapping :(
