Hello all !

Any idea why some applications like Sysinfo will not run in any other resolution than a native Amiga resolution ?

Had the Amiga set up at 800 x 600 24 bit on a Cybervison card
and it would not work at all.

Also had some problems with my Studio 16 software which said "could not load default tool icons " ?

Any help much appreciated !

Well, Sysinfo is quite old and there were nearly no gfx cards available so it cannot run on a gfx screen anyway ;)

You could try a Screen Promoter like ModePro or NewMode to promote the amiga native screen to a gfx screen, sometimes it works :cheese

Is there a better benchmarking utility for the Amiga which might
support the newer graphics card and there resolutions ?

Hmmmm, maybe give SysSpeed (http://us.aminet.net/util/moni/sspeed26.lha) a try ....

Try AmigaMark (http://us.aminet.net/aminet/util/moni/amlpa20031.000.lha) updated 3 weeks ago :)

Forget about sysinfo, it takes it's timing from the VBlank (erm, 'screens refresh rate' to the non techies), if you promote the screen it lies even more than normal...
