Angry Sigh...

Great. When I surf to the site I get the message '1 week to go and counting'. Please post only an adress when something valuable can be found on the page.

It's working but I don't think flash should be necessary for a simple button interaction. This can be simply done with html. Just the swap image when the mouse is over.

2 Things

1. You only need to start one thread, just use the reply button.

2. The pictures on your screenshot page total 1.8 mb's, now for to pictures with no more than 32 colours I think this is a little much. Convert them to jpeg's or GIF's.

1.8 mb's would take someone on dail-up about 6 minutes to download

lol!!! I like the 'interview'!

I was expecting something boring, like what Marcus Dyson thought about the future of the Amiga or whatever.

Very amusing!

It really makes me sad that such a fine tool is regarded by many (for a LOT of valid reasons) as something evil or crap. This is thw fault of using it the wrong way. It's also the fault of Macromedia for introducing all that newbie level bloatware in there (like Flash UI components! wtf is that for, make your own!).

It's a bit, let's say, like AMOS. Most AMOS games were bad, so AMOS was regarded as poop. But there were some efforts where they showed the language could have been utilized pretty well!

End of my rant

to teh webmaster: I agree with Burseg and most everyone here, I don;'t think Flash is necessary at all.

Cool Visited it...

I have just visited your site. It seems I was a bit too early yesterday.
Anyway, nicely done. Do you have plans maintaining this site and adding extra features (reviews for example)?

By the way, I remember from a couple of months ago someone wanted to create a sequel or remake of SuperFrog on the PC. Does anyone know the status of this project or has more information about it?

Thumbs down Superfrog website is garbage

I apologise in advance for being negative:

1. If you go to the trouble of registering a domain, you should make a decent site. This site is childish in content and presentation.

2. The interview is pathetic. I would much prefer to read information from the programmer about the game than some lame 20 lines of crap which is all made up.

3. The front page with an Enter button is pointless. Why not go straight into the site? It's not like you get a choice of frames/no frames or flash/no flash etc. So it's pointless.

4. There is practically no content on the site.

5. Graphics are missing all over the place.

6. "Click here" is a classic case of stupid HTML design. You should always be able to change the text to a useful description such as "Download superfrog" rather than "If you want to download Superfrog, Click here".

7. The invincibility cheat doesn't work. The cheat codes layout is also terrible.

8. What is the point of saying "Main Menu" in big writing down the left? Is it not obvious that it is a menu?

9. When I click on the links in the Modules section I get a 404 error.

10. The screenshots section is pointless. 2 measly screens which are hacked, saved as jpeg when GIF is better for screenshots (even with the copperlist trick at the top the screen uses less than 256 colours)

This site sux!
