A500 Sound Problems

I got an A500 for spare parts (mainly floppy drive) and although it's a bit knackered cosmetically I was surprised to find it a very late model A500. Much later than the nice looking A500 I already had.

So I thought it would be a good idea to switch motherboards over, since the old A500 has the odd graphical glitch.

But sadly the audio is duff on the newer board, the right channel output is much weaker than the left, making all music sound wrong.

Is this a known problem? I tried swapping the Paula chips out and that made no difference, so think it might be an op-amp on the line output.

Any ideas?Maybe I'll put the new denise and blitter into the old board and hope the screen glitches stop?

Thanks
