That would definitely get a thumbs up from me too! I agree with Ian, it's a pain in the butt when I've burnt the zip files but have to unzip everthing again after a re-install.
I don't mind it for a data disk,but agreed for the ADF game disks it'd be a welcome feature! BTW-with this current "patched" WinUAE 0821r3,does anyone know when the WinUAE guys will release a proper,(non-patched) release 4 to negate the need for a patch? |

I agree. Playing zipped adfs would save me alot of hard drive space. It would be great.

I must agree this will be fantastic, but since all my adf's are in adz format I doubt I'll get round to converting them into zip
I've worked hard for direct and efficient support of adz's (Gzip) on my real Amiga so no turning back for me now. Wish we'd had zip support from the start like nearly every other emulator. |
