Game Over!
As i am now on the Broadband Bus, i can no longer maintain my site
 which is http://www.amiga.ukhq.co.uk so if you wanna take it over, mail me at amigaukhq@hotmail.com for info, as it uses a Dial Up Network Protocal, it is only open to UK people. Various benefits include:- Unlimited Space Over 35,000 hits in the last year You'll add your two cents, to the Amiga Scene However, i am in the process on "buying" a domain, so hopefully i can still add to the "scene" (indeed alot quicker, and bigger) And, i still be HERE!  ps: 35,000 / year is not big for your old host (100 / day). You have to relativize: just abime.net produce >1000 / day unique visitors, and I don't speak about BTTR ! |

But what's the link between going broadband and not being able to maintain a website?

i know 35,000 hits is not massive, but i ran the site as a hobbie, on my own, i'm just a big fan
and the i can not upload, from a broadband line (using that host, they look at it as hacking) so i'm gonna have to buy a domain!!! |

but as i have broadband i would like to use it, and that means a private host..... dial ups r way too expensiven (and slow) for the amount of data i want to push across, which is why my site stayed fairly small! have you or anyone else ever visited my site? |
